Is not this a kind of guarantee for Birkenstock sandals?

The cork on my fiance sandals are down and I think I remember something I heard long ago about Birkenstock have a guarantee of their shoes, as if the plug on the bottom wears sandals, they replace them? Anyone hear about that?
